Covid 19 Spring Boosters –
The practice will be closed from 2pm to 8pm on Thursday 12th May 2022 to focus on the Spring Covid 19 Booster Vaccinations. Our telephone calls will be limited on this day. For medical emergencies only please call 90296610 between 2pm and 6pm and after 6pm, please call 02890796220.
Subject to Vaccine availability we are going to vaccinate patients who are aged 75 years or older (born before 31.05.1947) this is a limited group of patients only who are likely to have waning immunity who are eligible at least 3 months from their previous dose.
Invitation is by letter only at the specific date and time printed on the letter. Letters were issued on the 27th April 2022 to attend Kerrsland Surgery. There maybe queues on the day, with limited car parking spaces available. We would suggest alternative travel methods such as using public transport or walking to attend. Please be prepared to wait.
Patients who are living in Nursing or Residential Homes will have their Spring Covid 19 Booster vaccine provided within the care home by community pharmacy . This will be offer on one or two dates.
For patients aged 75 or older who are housebound, these will be offer by District Nursing.
Please bring your existing vaccination card.

A new continuous cough OR fever OR a loss or changed sense of normal smell or taste. Children over the age of 5 years old in Northern Ireland are eligible. Testing will take place at one of four testing centres.
